We use an Open Support Policy, therefore we prefer to provide customer support in the view of the public (in a forum). It also allows knowledgeable community members to assist us in providing support. Those member's seen largely helping us provide support will receive rewards for their time (free keys to DLCs).

Step 1 - Before asking for support.

Generally speaking, its a good idea to research the issue you might be facing before asking for support, because someone else may have already experienced the same issue and have a solution. Here's a list of places to look:

If it appears no-one else has experienced the same issue that you are experiencing, or if a solution wasn't found then let's proceed to the next step.

Step 2 - Let's check some things first.

There are a couple of things you can try before asking for support that usually resolve the most common issues:

  1. Clear the Spintires cache.
  2. Verify the integrity of game files.
  3. Make sure to disable or remove all Mods (including Spintires+ Mod if you have it installed).

If none of the above methods resolve your issue, then please continue to the next step.

Step 3 - Asking for support.

When asking for support it's very important that you provide as much detail as possible in relation to the issue you are facing, especially the method we can follow to reproduce your issue (if possible). Additionally, it can be helpful to know your PC specifications. 

If your game crashes, it usually creates a ".mdmp" file inside the root directory of Spintires. See here how to find it. Please attach this file to your post when asking for support.

Please let us know which version of ST you are running. The version number is displayed on the main menu screen.

Create a support post.

A team member or a member of the community will answer your question as soon as possible.
