  1. I guess this just proves that it's been a while since I've played the original ST with ST+? Thank you very much Localhost!
  2. I am very grateful to hear the ST+ will eventually make it's return. But note, I am in no rush. Awesome job by the way. Enjoy your vacation. I am generally interested in a few of the features ST+ was originally designed to do. Namely being able to winch with the engine off. Changing winch length. Alter wheel offset settings for different wheel sets. Disable damage and/or fuel usage. Disable cloak effect. (IMO, That option should be available normally once you get the achievement) Spawning in additional trucks on the fly like you can in the proving grounds. And that awesome camera zoom feature. There use to be a great feature that I really liked where you can enable a full time live map view that can show points of interest for those of us that have more than one monitor. I would love to have something like that again. I don't particularly care for or want tracked vehicle support. The game is called "Spin Tires" for a reason. As I see it, if someone want's to play with tracked vehicles, then go try World of Tanks.
  3. ST+ no longer works since the release of the latest DLC Chernobyl. Are there any plans to update ST+ or is it dead?
  4. I haven't played this game for quite some time. I thought it was dead. Nice to see that there has been some updates and new content. I have noticed some issues though. Most of which has already been discussed with the new B133. Both models seem to act like they are excessively heavy and don't seem to react much to weight change from adding or removing cargo. They both sink into the ground faster and more so then just about any other vehicle I've tried. Including my own mod of a nearly identical truck. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a challenge. But you literally have to winch this truck way to much. Now my next issue doesn't have to do with the aftermath dlc in particular, but an issue with the loading screen. So I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong section. My screen resolution is 2560 x 1080 (21:9 ultrawide) and my loading screen background image is split in half. The right half of the image is on the left and visa-versa. Anyone have any idea on how to fix that?
  5. I use winchrange 40. I have it set that high because it's the only way to winch more then 10 feet up hill.
  6. Saying that Oovee has essentially shot themselves in the foot by not communicating with the community is putting it mildly. But yeah, that's about right. And hiding behind this so-called NDA (which is just hog wash) is basically reloading the gun as they keep it aimed at their feet. Where I would agree that's it's probably not a good idea to discuss why Oovee is failing in their duties to keep progress rolling. But it's also not a good idea to keep the community completely in the dark. I'm not saying that it's the right thing to do, but sometimes a little honesty can go a long way.
  7. Indeed, It has been so long that we have been kept in the dark. Not a official peep in many months. What's going on?
  8. Look at lines 87 and 88 in the SpintiresPlus_config.xml. Change both values to false.
  9. There are loads of new trucks in the steam workshop. And if you poke around, there are quite a few custom maps to play too. What more content do you need? Now if I were part of the beta testing group, I would be willing to accept potential bugs / problems from new and / or reconfigured features. I'm not so forgiving when it comes to a general public release update.
  10. I just look at it like this. Since they have stopped updating, they have also stopped creating more problems / bugs.
  11. So let me see if I understand this correctly. You call this mod a cheat because it can alter how the game was intended to be played by the creator? Altering a game to suit ones preference is not necessarily cheating. I don't see anyone trying to gain the upper hand to defeat another. Or trying to quickly advance to the next tier of achievement. Then you go on to mention how you would like to see more then one active winch point per truck and more then 4 player multiplayer. If ST+ could provide everything you wanted for this game, does that mean you would have a change of heart about using it?
  12. Okay, so that is your opinion. You don't have to use it if you don't want to. No one is forcing you to do anything. If you don't like anything that this mod has to offer, then just don't use it. Clear and simple.
  13. That's what I have been noticing all along. So is this something you can correct?
